These terms apply to the LingoMic Chrome extension, the LingoMic Windows app and this website. By installing or using LingoMic you agree to them.

1. The service

LingoMic transcribes and translates online meetings, can translate your voice into your meeting microphone, and writes AI notes. The extension runs in your browser; the Windows app runs on your computer. LingoMic never joins a meeting as a participant.

2. Your account, your Gemini key and third parties

You sign in with a Google account. LingoMic uses Google's Gemini API with your own API key: your audio and text go from your device to Google under the terms of your Gemini plan, and LingoMic does not receive or store them. Google's availability, limits, prices and data practices are outside our control and can change. Google Meet, Zoom and Microsoft Teams are trademarks of their owners; LingoMic is not affiliated with them.

3. Free minutes, trial and plans

• 30 free minutes. After you sign in, you can use every feature for 30 minutes without a card, once per account.
• 5-day free trial. To continue, you start a 5-day trial by adding a card at checkout. You pay nothing during the trial.
• When the trial ends. Unless you cancel before the end of day 5, your card is charged for the plan shown at checkout: the 6-month plan (USD 29) unless you chose another. We email you two days before the charge.
• Plans. 6 months (USD 29) and 1 year (USD 49) renew automatically at the same price until you cancel; we email you a week before each renewal. Lifetime (USD 79) is a single payment and never renews; "lifetime" means for as long as LingoMic is offered and maintained.
• Cancelling. You can cancel the trial or auto-renewal at any time. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
• One person. A plan is for the person who owns the Google account. It may not be resold or shared.
• After a plan ends you can still view and export past meetings, but cannot record new ones or use AI features.

Payments are processed in US dollars by our payment provider, which acts as the merchant of record and handles taxes and receipts. Prices are shown on the website and may change for future purchases; a price change never affects a period you have already paid for.

4. Your responsibilities

• Consent. Tell the participants before you record or transcribe a meeting, and follow the laws and company policies that apply to you. You are responsible for how you use recordings and transcripts.
• Lawful use. Do not use LingoMic to break the law, to deceive or harass people, or to impersonate someone. Voice translation must not be used to mislead others about who is speaking.
• Your key. Keep your API key private and stay within Google's terms.

5. Accuracy

Transcription, translation and AI notes can contain mistakes. Check anything important (numbers, names, decisions, legal or medical matters) before relying on it. LingoMic is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, and we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

6. Liability

To the extent the law allows, LingoMic is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost business or lost data, or for problems caused by Google, your meeting platform or your network. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for LingoMic in the 12 months before the claim.

7. Changes and ending

We may update LingoMic and these terms; material changes will be announced on this page and in the app. We may suspend an account that is used against these terms. You can stop using LingoMic at any time by removing the extension or the app; refunds are covered in the refund policy.
